OWNERS TO KNOW:
GOOD VET
Choosing a good veterinary clinic will be very similar to choosing the right health care clinic/doctor for your own personal health because you want to ensure your ALD puppy receives the quality care they deserve.
THE RIGHT FOOD
Always follow your breeders or VETs recommendations. All puppies are different so it is very important to find the best food diet for your puppy. Options are:
*The RAW diet
*The DEHIDRATED diet
*The KIBBLE diet
*TREATS (for training, rewarding or good behaviour)
GROOMING
*Brush all body every day with slicker brush and comb after
*you might need to wash their paws after a muddy walks
*clean their ears and eyes, clip their nails
*book regular groomer visits
TRAINING
ALDs learn fast and want to please. Start with the basic:
*toilet training
*commands: leave, wait, come, sit/down
*continue with heel walk
*socialise properly
THE RIGHT EXERCISE
While puppies are growing we recommend to limit their exercise for a healthy joints (to avoid hip or elbow dysplasia). From year 1-18 months you can walk your dog as long as you both enjoying.
BONDING
Spend as much time as you can with your puppy! They are fur babies and growing too quick!
TOXIC FOOD
Big NO NO NO to:
Chocolate, cooked bones, grapes and raisins, garlic and onions, Macadamia nuts, mushrooms, many seeds, Xylitol (an artificial sweetener)

TOXIC PLANTS
So many plants are toxic to dogs, please be aware and read carefully if you do not have them at home, in your garden or in the parks where you walk them.
First AID
In case of anything, please have first aid for your pup.
